Carlo Dade: Tariffs on Canada are a betrayal of the America First movement’s promise to U.S. workers 

Carlo Dade is Director of the Trade and Trade Infrastructure Centre at the Canada West Foundation, based in Calgary. In addition, he is a member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations and a former non-Resident Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. He is most recently author of the chapter, “Keep Your Friends Closer: Managing Economic Relations in the Canada-U.S.-China Triangle” in the 2022 edition of Canada and Great Power Competition.
