Geoffrey Clarfield is a musician, anthropologist and journalist who worked in Africa, Asia and the Middle East for two decades until his return to North America in 2005. He has written for the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the New York Post, the Brooklyn Rail, Smithsonian Magazine, the Epoch Times, the Post Millennial and the New English Review, where he is a contributing editor.
