Podcast Access Guide

Having trouble signing up for your paid podcast content on The Hub?

Below is in depth step-by-step guide on how to set up your account:

The Hub Roundtable and In Conversation David Frum private feeds are for paid subscribers (i.e. Hub Fellows and Heroes). They are separated from the main Hub Podcasts channel where you will see the free version of each podcast.

You can tell them apart by the podcast feed cover art.

NOTE: The paid versions of Hub Roundtable and In Conversation with David Frum have the banners “Paid Subscribers” at the top of the cover art. That is different from the free versions’ cover art on the main Hub Podcasts channel:

For regular podcast listeners:

If you listen to your podcasts on Apple or other podcast platforms (excluding Spotify), you can access the private feeds of the Hub Roundtable and In Conversation with David Frum through their representative universal links below:

Hub Roundtable (Exclusive to Subscribers) universal link

In Conversation with David Frum (Exclusive to Subscribers) universal link

1. Once you select the link, it will take you to the webpage of the private feed:

2. There, you will see an array of podcast platforms that are associated with your device. Select the podcast platform you’d like to use to listen to the program. For instance, if you listen to your podcasts on Apple Podcasts, select Apple Podcasts, and follow the instructions respective to the platform:

3. After selecting Apple Podcasts, click on the “Subscribe” button. That will take you to your Apple Podcasts app.

4. Automatically, once you’re on the app, the URL link for the private feed will pop up. Please select “Follow.”

5. After you select “Follow,” this notification requests you to “enable notifications” on the Podcast show. Please select “enable notifications” so you can stay up to date on new episodes.

6. Please check your Apple Podcasts’ Library to see if the private feed for Hub Roundtable of David Frum is available. The private feeds should be listed under “Shows”

7. Because each program has their own private feed, you will need to do this process twice: one for the Hub Roundtable and one for In Conversation with David Frum. Once you follow the instructions to link the private feeds to your respective podcast feed, you will be able to listen to the full episodes with no ads or interruptions.

For Spotify listeners:

If you listen to your podcasts on Spotify, there is a separate process to access the exclusive Hub Roundtable podcast and exclusive In Conversation with David Frum podcasts. For Spotify listeners, each listener has their own unique links for each program.

1. Contact support@thehub.ca so they can add your email onto our Hello Audio list for each program. Please send the email address that is associated with your Spotify account.

Afterwards, you will receive an email from Hello Audio with the instructions to add the private feeds on your podcast account.

2. Once you receive an email from Hello Audio, please click on “Start Listening” at the bottom of the email.

3. Afterwards, it will take you to another webpage. There, select Spotify, copy the code and click on subscribe.

4. Once on the Spotify app, click on the lock icon on the private feeds’ play button and select “Get access”

5. There it will ask you to link the Hello Audio account to your Spotify account. Please click on “Link Account” at the bottom:

6. On the next page, you will have to input your email and code that you copied during step 3.

7. And there you have it. You will then be able to access the private feed on your account. Remember to select “Follow” towards the top of the private feed so you can find it on your library:

Because each program has their own private feed, you will need to do this process twice: one for the Hub Roundtable and one for In Conversation with David Frum. So, you will receive two separate emails to add the private feeds of each program to your Spotify account.

If you are still struggling, please refer to this video from Hello Audio that will show you the process again step-by-step.
