The Quebec Court of Appeal affirms that the legislature has the last word

Ultimately, the Court of Appeal upheld the orthodox reading of section 33, according to which its invocation by the National Assembly shields Bill 21 from judicial scrutiny on the grounds of section 2 and sections 7 to 15 of the Charter.
